Inspired by the delicious work of the artist Peter Anton we made some clay donuts.
We made clay balls, flattened them and chose whether or not to have a ring or filled donut. Once the clay hardened we added a layer of white paint and then colour. We finished the donuts by adding a glaze of PVA glue.
Peter Anton is a renowned american artist and sculptor best known for his larger-than-life boxed chocolates, ice cream bars and other confections. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut in 1963.
