When our class arrive into school they get time to play together using our excellent equipment. This not only helps students regulate themselves after their journey into school. It also improves gross motor skills. One student is learning how to jump on a trampoline while another is starting to enjoy the spinner below. By this time of the school year our students have become much more comfortable being around each other. They are paying more attention to their classmates and discovering that its more fun to play together. The best part of all is when students interact and play with each other. This is so important for all children but especially for our autistic students.
